Congratulations!
NCBAA has been selected to pilot and assess the newly developed Leading Forward Learning Modules. We are excited about this training opportunity and hope you are as well. We appreciate your willingness to take part in this pilot.
By way of this notice we are confirming that NCBAA's Leadership Development Institute for African American Mid-level Administrators in Community Colleges, will pilot a 3-hour/half day workshop using the LF-1 Equity Awareness Training module. Thanks to the generosity of the Kellogg Foundation, AACC is pleased to be able to provide grant funds in the amount of $5,000 for piloting this workshop.
The grant funds may cover expenses for facilitators, travel, meeting rooms, materials, and meals or refreshment breaks. By agreeing to pilot this module you are committing to the following:
· Delivery of the module(s) prior to December 12, 2007.
· Submission of evaluation reports (instruments to be provided by AACC) from both facilitator and participants.
· Submission of narrative (cover letter plus evaluation summary) and financial reports to AACC by December 20, 2007.
We are happy to hear that facilitator arrangements have been made with Christine McPhail and Eileen Baccus for this pilot. Please let us know the finalized date of the session so we have it in our records.
More information is headed your way in the coming weeks, including the complete module curriculum, participant evaluation forms, and a template for the final report.
Thank you again for your interest and commitment. Please let us know if you have any questions.
We look forward to working with you.
Sincerely,
Lynn Barnett
